लाजिम्पाटमा – म काम गर्न जाँदै छु

So I’m not sure i spelled that correctly but it’s where I was.  The pictures were taken over a couple of days.  Just walking to and from work.  Some of my favorite shots.

Can’t imagine there is not a crowd.

Then there is a before and after shot.. shoot pass if you are squeamish.

Most days feel like dog days.  Especially in front of the butchers.

Some modes of transportation either passing me, parked along side me or nearly running over me.

Then there are your workers, waiters, walkers and businessmen.

Then at last, some final random photos that didn’t really fit into any other theme.

Karate suit wearing runners..

Birds of a Feather … flock on Lazimpat

The AristoCats (1970)  Birds of a feather must *hic* together!

Rainy day walking to work and with only my phone I catch birds sneaking away the flower and fruit offerings sitting outside doorways.  Usually it’s meat from the butcher’s shop.  This was much more interesting and pretty to watch.

The Jungle Book (1967)  Baloo, birds of a feather should flock together. You wouldn’t marry a panther now, would you? Like a stork, yeah. But he ain’t got no feathers, he ain’t.

Wuthering Heights (1939)  If she’s run off with that gypsy scum, let her run. Let her run through storm and Hell. They’re birds of a feather and the Devil can take them both. Now, get me a bottle.

A place to meet..

You and I will meet again, when we’re least expecting it, One day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won’t say goodbye my friend, for you and I will meet again.

~~ Tom Petty Quotes

After a long week of work in a place far away, it’s always good to find a place to meet up with friends.  I hope you enjoy.

As with people, I love taking pictures of modes of transport in other countries.  In celebration of my last set of photos from India….I present to you transportation in India.

DSC01002

Don’t be silly, that is really not the typical transportation in India.  So many impressive ways to travel. So many interesting machines.

Most of them packed full and still too many cars on the road.

Cycles are also a huge form of transportation. Bicycles and motorcycles.

Further, animals and over the top over-loaded transport.  So crazy!! So impressive!!

One of my favorite modes though is simply this.
