One color

Black and white are the colors of photography. To me they symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is forever subjected.

I’m in love with red. I think it’s such a passionate color. Every flag of every country pretty much has red it it. It’s power, there’s no fence sitting with red. Either you love it or you don’t. I think its blood and strength and life. I do love red. I love all colors. Great shades of blue, you find them in nature. They’re all magic.

  1. I found the b/w more profound although I prefer to take photos in color. I admire people who can take street photography because I hesitate to be caught doing it.

    • I used to hesitate. Sometimes I will ask and sometimes I make sure I’m aware of their expressions. I usually have my sport setting on so I can just walk and shoot and not bother anyone. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

  2. Frank’s quote is a good choice for your inviting set of monochromatic images. I like your choices for post processing the black and white, which eliminates distractions that allow the viewer to concentrate on the content.
