“And yet day and night meet fleetingly at twilight and dawn,” he said, lowering his voice again and narrowing his eyes and moving his head a quarter of an inch closer to hers. “And their merging sometimes affords the beholder the most enchanted moments of all the twenty four hours. A sunrise or sunset can be ablaze with brilliance and arouse all the passion, all the yearning, in the soul of the beholder.”
― Mary Balogh

“HEARTWORK
Each day is born with a sunrise
and ends in a sunset, the same way we
open our eyes to see the light,
and close them to hear the dark.
You have no control over
how your story begins or ends.
But by now, you should know that
all things have an ending.
Every spark returns to darkness.
Every sound returns to silence.
And every flower returns to sleep
with the earth.
The journey of the sun
and moon is predictable.
But yours,
is your ultimate
ART.”

  1. It’s a compliment that you reblog my post and all these others, but it’s always appreciated if you say directly in your post that all these photos are from other blogs. The other bloggers appreciate that and of course any visits from your followers.

    • Janet – I’m a bit confused about this comment. Which photos are you referring to? The photos that i post in my blog are photos i have taken during my travels. All of the photos above are photos I have taken this week in Helsinki? Or are you talking about something else? I reblog posts that I enjoy. I include the link to the posts that i enjoy. I have had other bloggers request I unlink their blog from my post and i’m never offended at that. I am a bit confused. Appreciate you stopping by though.

Watcha wanna say...
