31 Days of Randomness- Personal Inspiration 7 – Going SMALL

In continuation of my 31 days of randomness – Day 7. Once again going small.

OK. I know, I know, going small has never been one of my higher abilities.  Despite being a large part of my title and an even larger theme in many of my posts.  I stand by my premise that sometimes you have to go BIG to go very small.  I also still believe that less is more often than not ..more.

Initially my going small meant that I had been robbed again or had lost all of my worldly possessions to some sort of moving tragedy. After several of the above-mentioned incidents I realized I actually liked having less.  It was easier to keep track of.  Easier to be mobile.  Easier to breathe.  You really can’t be robbed of what you don’t have right?

When I began to live a life of less intentionally I realized I had discovered a better way to live.  Having less and wanting less meant less debt and that alone meant more freedom. Now these things are easier said than done. I realize this and I also realize my minimalist lifestyle did not start out by choice but once I was in the middle of it, what an inspiration.

I am once again preparing to move my entire life to another completely different place and once again I will have to decide what I want to take with me and then narrow that list down to what I NEED to take with me.  It does get easier each time I do it but one still needs inspiration right?  This video might seem extreme but everything starts somewhere.

Today I am going to keep it as simple as possible and only refer back to some of my favorite going small, minimalist postings/blogs.  Enjoy.
